Introduction
What The Humane Dog Trainer's Guild is and why dog trainers and dog owners should join.
Membership Benefits
Fellowship, an industry voice, educational opportunities, training equipment and other discounts.
What is Trained?
A dog that can exert self-control and perform its duties in all environments and respond to the guidance of its owner.
Dangerous Trends
"All positive" training contradicts the sciences of psychology, biology & ethlology and produces unreliable dogs, unhappy dog owners and contributes to shelter overpopulation.
  • Like many stock dogs bred to resemble the animals they protect this rare penguin protection husky has been trained by Roger Hild in the great white north. eh.
  • Lots of tips this week:

    • Never train naked
    • Just a thong counts as naked
    • My favorite color is leather
    • It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
    • Mothers sign the responsibility cheques
    • Train the behavior like it's a job, not a trick
    • Silly rabbit, treats are for kiddy trainers
  • KongSpecial deal on the front page of our store for Kongs, dried liver and e-collars.

This just a rough draft of what our website could look like. To replace the existing background I'm thinking of something very similar but with dog training equipment to replaced the orienteering stuff. Keep in mind I put it together in a day and either made or borrowed graphics and I have no talent at either. The links won't go anywhere useful. In order to take it any further we need some money injected and some volunteer hours to dig up content in the form of articles, photos and videos.
